Abstract
This proposal seeks to build a strategic international partnership to advance research and innovation in alkali-activated materials (AAM) through targeted exchange missions between Brazil and Spain. This collaboration will harness the complementary expertise of both research teams in AAM, magnesium-based cement, carbonation techniques, and sustainable fiber-cement solutions, addressing the critical need for alternative, low-carbon cementitious materials. Through this synergy, the project will drive knowledge exchange, accelerate technological innovation, and foster sustainable construction practices, paving the way for impactful contributions to low-carbon technology adoption within the construction sectors of both countries.
