Abstract

This research project, building on findings from our previous study (2019/14272-9),explores the impact of communication processes on team creativity and innovationwithin diverse cultural settings, specifically in Brazil, Canada, and France. The studyseeks to understand how sociocultural aspects, communication modalities, and toolsaffect creative productivity in corporate creative-intensive ecosystems. Drawing from asystemic, communicational model of innovation, we aim to develop a theoreticalframework for managing creative teams. Our approach emphasizes the role ofcommunication in fostering psychological safety, stakeholder engagement, andsustained creative output. The project will use qualitative interviews, cross-culturalsurveys, and experimental workshops to collect and analyze data. The expectedoutcomes include a theoretical model for communication-driven creativity management,an online platform for assessing creative team maturity, and recommendations forimproving communication strategies in innovation management. The research willaddress challenges in aligning communication flows, tools, and modalities with culturaldynamics to enhance team innovation, contributing to both academic and practicalinsights into creativity management across global contexts.
