Abstract

The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Araraquara-UNESP (FCF-UNESP) is a centennial Institution, recognized for its excellence in research and the training of highly qualified human resources. FCF-UNESP has an infrastructure to conduct animal experiments for decades, so that today we have installed a body of researchers with national and international recognition in several areas of knowledge, including biochemistry, pharmacology, immunology, mycology, microbiology, nutrition and food, parasitology and toxicology. This proposal constitutes an opportunity to expand the actions to improve the animal facility infrastructure available at the Institution. The resources to be obtained in this proposal are in addition to other investments that have been continuously made by UNESP and the FCF-UNESP, in order to provide an excellent infrastructure for the development of studies involving animal experiments. These investments also aim to ensure necessary adaptations in the infrastructure to comply with the current legislation of the National Council for the Control of Animal Experimentation (CONCEA). (AU)
