Abstract
During the period of the visit to IFSC, we will complete the writing of manuscripts currently in preparation for submission to international journals. The main objective of the visit, however, is to deepen the discussion of our future research collaborations. In particular, we propose to advance the design and development of flexible and wearable antennas, exploring the use of new biocompatible materials with conductive properties. The proposal consists in investigating materials that can be deposited on wearable substrates, such as tracing paper and other flexible polymers, to enable next-generation antennas aimed at wireless communications. These antennas present great potential for application both in emerging mobile networks (5G and 6G) and in sensing and biosensing, areas in which the integration of biocompatible materials can bring significant gains in performance and usability. Furthermore, such structures can be explored in imaging, in accordance with recent advances reported in the experimental and theoretical literature. (AU)
