Abstract

This project contemplates the critical and archivist approach of Mario de Andrade's process of creation in manuscripts of his archive and his library both at the Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros of the Universidade de São Paulo. It gathers three branches: criticism, book preparation and archives theoretical and methodological basis concern ad to genetic criticism, textual criticism, literary hermeneutics, archivistics and codicology considering the interdisciplinary in the polygraph's work. It aims the discussion of Mario de Andrade's process of creation, producing a book of essays on this subject, researchers' training (PhDs, masters and scientifically initiation), the preparation of genetic and critical editions of three Mario de Andrade's works, the complete processing of manuscripts in databases and the production of fax simile copies by scanning and microfilming in order to increase the social range of the documents online.
