Abstract

The project LiNbO3 crystal optical-electronic devices is a thematic project which involves researchers from the ITA - InPE and USP which aims for the systematization of techniques for the growth and characterization of crystals of lithium niobate to implement optical modulators for integrated optics and high resolution spectrum analyzers. The area of optical-electronic devices is growing quickly in applications and lithium niobate is one of the most suitable materials for the implementation of several devices. The training of the research groups involved in the area of optical-electronic devices will be substantially increased through the development of this project. (AU)
