Abstract

The present research project is the synthesis of 2-methoxycinamilidenepiruvate of sodium and trivalent lantanides in the solid state. These compounds will be characterized by using infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffractometry, elemental analysis, EDTA complexometry and the investigation of thermal behaviour by using simultaneous thermogravimetry, differential thermal analysis(TG-DTA)coupled with infrared spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry - Microscopy.
