Colloidal incorporation of metallic nanoparticle of gold in membrane of natural rubber

Abstract

This work will give continuity in the project of pos-doctoral in the University of Windsor-Ca, inside our line of research that aims at obtaining of composites prepared by the natural rubber with metallic nanoparticles. The composites (NR/Au) will be prepared by in situ reaction using NR membranes and aqueous gold tetracholorates solutions (Au). Several substances can be used to produce embedded gold nanoparticles including natural polymers. The composites formed of polymeric material with nanoparticles embedded have potential of application in electronic devices due to its mechanical, electric, and optical properties. In this work what intends is the utilization of this composite as electric device; pressure sensor; with nanosensibility. (AU)
