Abstract

The objective of this study will be evaluating in vitro the potential of the gel of NIM in the reduction the dentine permeability. The 30 crows of molars will be divided roots and prepared to analyze. The teeth will be subdivided in 03 groups with 10 disks each, will be test 03 solutions (fluoride gel 1.23%, NIM-gel, Oxa-Gel). The gels will be applied about the surface occlusal of the disks of dentine and the specimens will be right away, submitted to the test of conductibility hydraulic, according to the following sequence: 1. in the presence of smear layer in interest occlusal of the disk after the scouring of this surface with sandpaper of granulation 600, during 5 seconds, representing to permeability most minimum; 2. in the absence of smear layer, after the conditioning with phosphoric acid to 37% for 1 minute, for the obtaining of the permeability maximum; 3. after application of one of the solutions in the surface occlusal 4. after application of the gel of citric acid to 6% for 1 minute, for verify the effectiveness of the gels. The results of the attempt of conductibility hydraulic will be submitted to the variance analysis to two criteria, with level of significance of 5%, applied to the percentage medium values, identifying the differences inter groups and intra groups. The individual differences will be determined by the multiple test of Duncan, also level with significance of 5%. (AU)
