Behaviour of table and wine grapes cultivars grafted on different rootstocks

Abstract

We aim to evaluate the influence of rootstock in the table grape cultivars Venus and vinifera, hybrid and common varieties for wine. Two experiments will be conducted from June 2011 to May 2013. With Vênus cultivar the experiment will be conducted in Votuporanga, using rootstocks IAC 766, IAC 572, IAC 313 e IAC 571-6. The experiment with the wine grape cultivars Isabel, Bordô, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, IAC 138-22 Máximo, IAC 116-31 Rainha, IAC 21-14 Madalena, BRS Lorena and BRS Violeta grafted on rootstocks IAC 766 and Ripária Traviú will be conducted in Jundiai. The experimental design is randomized complete block design. In each experimental area will be evaluated in two production cycles, the duration of phenological stages and, at the time of flowering, leaf sampling for chemical analysis. At harvest will be estimated the number of clusters per plant, productivity, physical characteristics of clusters and berries, soluble solids, acidity, pH and soluble solids / acidity. Additionally, the experiment of wine grapes will be determined the levels of anthocyanins, phenols and tannins in the most of grape. At the time of pruning and harvesting of custers, will be estimated the extraction of macro and micronutrients. Data on extraction of nutrient by the clusters and branches removed by pruning can be used to assist in the fertilization of replacing vineyards, aiming to provide subsidies for fertilizer recommendation for these grape cultivars.
