Paidéia: objectives and subjectives basis to build social networks on girls sexual abuse and exploitation delict prevention

Abstract

This project seeks to provide an empirical basis, objective and subjective projection for diagnosis and prevention practices of abuse and sexual exploitation of girls, children and adolescents. It is intended to support, with data and analysis, training of social networking groups, or consolidation, where they already exist in the five cities with more than 200 000 inhabitants in the State of São Paulo, named: Araraquara, Bauru, Ribeirão Preto, São Carlos and Sao Jose do Rio Preto. These cities are already cited by the Ministry of Justice, as routes referrals of cases of trafficking for sexual exploitation. The databases will result from the crossing of the existing quantitative data in local institutions and the outcomes of interviews with 150 professionals and citizens who work around this social issue, namely: 1 - police and prosecutors linked the repression of organized crime; 2 - council members; 3 - social workers and psychologists; 4 - members of neighborhood councils in vulnerable neighborhoods. The expected results are: I - building of statistical database, located at the university and in connection with the local public social assistance; II - Implementation of regional observatory on the experiences of prevention of the crime of sexual abuse and exploitation; III - development protocol aimed at protecting children and adolescent victims of sexual abuse and exploitation.
