Abstract

The aim of this study is evaluated the effect of FOS supplementation on the intestinal bacterial flora of mothers treated with trans fatty acids during pregnancy and lactation, and the impact on metabolic programming of offspring in relation to endotoxemia and the proinflammatory state. It will be evaluated FOS supplementation, in the 90 days of life offspring on the intestinal bacterial flora and proinflammatory state induced by maternal trans fatty acids intake during pregnancy and lactation. Will be evaluated in mothers FOS treated or not and in male offspring, with 21 and 90 days (treated with control diet or trans diet containing FOS or not): food intake, changes in body mass and metabolic efficiency, carcass fat and protein content; serum triacylglycerol, total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, glucose and hormones adiponectin and insulin; intestinal bacteria mRNA. Additionally, in the puppies will be evaluated: gene and protein expression of receptors, TNFRII, IL-6R, AdipoR1, TLR2 and TLR4 in retroperitoneal adipose tissue and soleus and EDL, protein expression of MyD88 and TRAF6, and phosphorylated and non phosphorylated forms proteins involved in NF-ºB uncoupling of the IºB (p50, p65 and IKK-± and b) and the interaction NF-ºB-DNA in retroperitoneal adipose tissue and soleus and EDL.
