Abstract

The objective of the present work is to evaluate the effects of the inclusion levels (zero, 7, 14, 21 e 28% in dry matter diet) of industry bio-fuels co-products (glycerin, oilseed cakes and sugar cane bagasse) in feedlot lambs diets on meat characteristics. Forty lambs (average initial body weight of 15 kg and aged 3 months) will be housed during 75 days in pens with two animals each. In end of the experiment the lambs will be slaughter to evaluation of meat chemical composition, color, fatty acid profile, sensory evaluation, shear force and lipid oxidation. (AU)
