Abstract

1. Revision of chapters 1-3 and work on the details chapters 4 and 5 and review of the old chapters of the book "Large Sample Statistical Theory: Finite Sample Motivation and Applications" to be published by Cambridge University Press (CUP) (joint work with Julio M. Singer e Antonio C. P. Lima); 2. Discussion and incorporation of the reviewers suggestions to the paper "Estimation of the Mean Quality Adjusted Survival using a Multistate Model for the Sojourn Times", submitted to the Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference (in collaboration with Antonio C. P. Lima e Gisela T. Silva); discussion of the final details of another paper on generalizations of the model considered in the previous paper and submission to an international journal; 3. Development of non-parametric methods for tests on variance components (in collaboration with Julio M. Singer e Juvêncio S. Nobre); 4. Participation in the 17th SINAPE (Brazilian Statistical Meeting) with the presentation of a conference and an invited talk. (AU)
