Abstract

The aim of this visit is to build on previous collaborative work between us and for Prof Hinde. In the collaborative work there are a number of strands that we are keen to bring to completion, while at the same time starting out on new avenues of associated work. One main objective of this proposal will be to make substantial progress on our monograph. Overdispersion: Models and Estimation; which will be published by Chapman & Hall. At the same time as working on this, we would hope to generate some spin-off working papers for particular aspects of overdispersion modelling that have not been covered in our previous collaborative work. We envisage that these will lead to conference presentations and published articles. (AU)
