Abstract

Study the asymmetric dependence of the spin-flip electronic Raman spectrum from quantum wires electron gas. We will explore the selection rules and the contribution of Dresselhaus and Rashba inversion asymmetries to the scattering efficiency. In particular we would like to study the influence of bulk k-cubic conduction-band spin splitting in zincblende quantum wire semiconductors. The influence of spin-orbit components might be determined for the particular geometrical confinement of the quantum wire shaped region. (AU)
