Abstract
The main objective is to work on the research project "Singular foliations on the solid torus", joint with Prof. Luciana de Fatima Martins. The aim of this project is to further investigate the geometric and asymptotic properties of singular foliations defined on compact manifolds. We aim to give talks at IBILCE-UNESP, IME-USP, ICMC-USP and PUC-Rio onsubjects of interest to graduate students and researchers, interact with other members of staff at these universities, and visit Prof. Daciberg Lima Gonçalves of IME-USP for two or three days. We also plan to participate in theXI International Workshop on Real and Complex Singularities, which will take place in July 2010 at the ICMC-USP, São Carlos and in the XVII Brazilian Meeting of Topology, in August 2010 at PUC - Rio de Janeiro, which is attended by many researchers of the State of São Paulo.
