Abstract

We grouped the inherent subjects and processes to this research in four groups: diffusion of scientific agriculture and the agribusiness; space decentralization of industrial production; diffusion of commerce and specialized services; deepening of sociospacial inequalities. In the same way, the variables and statistical indicators are congregated in four main groups: representative branches of economic activities to show the performance of the new economic agents; equipment’s and infrastructures; population dynamics and work market; conditions of housing, processes of planning and management instruments. As analysis object, we select some representative cities to search the advances that we want to study: Campina Grande (PB), Mossoró (RN), Tefé (AM), Marabá (Pará), São José do Rio Preto and Marília (SP), Londrina (PR), Passo Fundo (RS), Itajaí (SC), Uberlândia and Teófilo Otoni (MG), and Dourados (MS).
