Abstract

Noncommutative field theories, based on a profound revision of the most fundamental properties of the space-time achieved by introducing an elementary length, play a challenging role in modern theoretical physics. We intend to study mensurable predictions due to the coordinate noncommutativity as well as the corresponding modifications or violations of most fundamental physical principles. The present project is aimed to cover noncommutative electrodynamics and gravity theory. Specifically the propagation of light and photon splitting in NC field theories with external field, and a causality will be studied. (AU)
