The Bioinformatics and Vision group at IME-USP has a long time collaboration with Télécom ParisTech, a very important research institute. Prof. Dr. Florence Tupin has advised Talita Parciano recently and accepted to visit our institute in July. The visit has several objectives: to strengthen the collaboration between IME and ParisTech via the future research activities coming from Talita's work, the discussion of a new problem (segmentation of blood vessels) where we started applying the same technique and the discussion of new collaborations with other researchers and professors from our group and from USP. There will also be an opportunity for Dr. Tupin to work with Dr. Michele Horta and Dr. Nelson Mascarenhas (UFSCAR). At last, Dr. Tupin will also be a judge for Talita's PhD thesis. (AU)
