Abstract

To achieve population suppression of Aedes aegypti using the RIDL® (Release of Insects carrying a Dominant Lethal) system, large numbers of male mosquitoes need to be released. This requires the use of mass rearing techniques and technology to provide optimised systems to obtain the maximum number of high quality male mosquitoes. (AU)
