Abstract

Nutrition Education (NE) is considered fundamental to healthy eating promotion, which plays a key role in health promotion and Primary Health Care (PHC). The professional ideally designated to guide this process is the Nutritionist, who is articulated with others professionals as a part of multidisciplinary time. In Sao Paulo these actions are focused in Unit Health Support Family Team (UHSFT) and in Bogotá in Collective Interventions Plan (CIP). Including in these educational practices, program contents prioritization and pedagogic practices selection are part of intervention strategy, which presume correspondence with policies, programs and project by city. Objective: to compare the program contents and pedagogic practices addressed in group's NE development by Nutritionists whose work in PHC in São Paulo (Brazil) and Bogotá (Colombia). Methods: descriptive qualitative study, using comparative method through discourse of the collective subject and systematic observation techniques. The procedure included four stages: mapping of nutritionists who work on Nutrition Education; conducting semi-structured interviews; group meeting systematic observation; and elaboration of the parallel between speeches and session development observation by city.
