Abstract
The Pharmaceutical Sciences Faculty of the São Paulo University has a tradition of research in different subareas of pharmacy. Currently, its professors, graduate students and researchers at the postdoctoral level are engaged in research projects funded by national and international development agencies. In the last five years, the teachers of FCFUSP captured million reais with research funding agencies, which led to publishing nearly 500 scientific papers in national and international indexed journals and some 2,000 abstracts at scientific meetings. This education unit, in recent years, has gave special attention to improving the working conditions in laboratories, for greater safety and comfort to its users. Modern equipment was purchased by the initiative and effort of teachers, through scientific expertise, obtained a significant amount of development aid from entities. Likewise, with FAPESP assistance was possible the physical implementation of reforms in several laboratories. This project aims to present the annual plan of quota implementation of costs for institutional infrastructure for research - RTI - 2011 and was prepared after discussions with teachers involved in the resource generation approved by FAPESP, reaching consensus on the priority projects and large effect on FCFUSP. The result of this study was approved by the Faculty in May 20, 2011, and is detailed and justified in this project. The management of RTI-FAPESP has enabled to implement actions aimed at ensuring infrastructural conditions to suit the needs of the institution's core activities, focusing on issues related to security of physical facilities, human heritage and the environment.
