Abstract

SPASECS is a special edition of the already traditional School of Electrochemistry that is annually organized at IQUSP. This year, with the financial support of São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), eight days of intensive theoretical and laboratorial electrochemistry course together with conferences on lithium-ion batteries, lithium-air batteries, fuel cell and electrochemical capacitors will take place with the participation of specialists from Brazilian and foreign Universities. The target audience is graduate students and young doctors from all over the world. The number of participants is limited to 80 to ensure access to equipment to develop the experiments in small groups. We have the sponsorship of the International Society of Electrochemistry and the Journal “Energy & Environmental Science” (EES), published by The Royal Society of Chemistry, to offer 4 awards for the student poster section. Winners will receive a special certificate and a modest funding. (AU)
