Abstract

Given the expressive use of Primary Health Care (PHC) in caring for Hypertension and Diabetes is clear that there have been advances in the trajectory of SUS in search of models of health care that would strengthen its guidelines and principles and respond to the real needs of health of users seeking health care, thus was born the Family Health Strategy (FHS), a result of the attempted reorganization of Primary Care. It is characterized by multidisciplinary teamwork, especially prevention and health promotion in a defined territory, which promotes ties with the community, seeking comprehensive and longitudinal care of the individual and his family, through an expanded concept of health. Thus, this model converges with health care needs of patients with Hypertension and Diabetes, since these have been growing problems in public health. Despite these advances, the APS is surrounded by frailties. Accordingly, points up the need for studies that evaluate the quality of health services. Therefore, we intend to conduct a study with quantitative and qualitative approach, focused on evaluating the quality of health care and its relationship to the perception of patients with Hypertension and Diabetes and professional team of family health.
