Production and quality of table and wine's cultivars in Jundiaí, Votuporanga and São Manuel, SP

Abstract

This project aims to evaluate the effect of different rootstocks on agronomic caracteristics of grape cultivars for table and wine in São Manuel, Jundiaí and Votuporanga, SP. In period from June, 2013 to June, 2015 will be conducted five experiments, being two areas in Jundiaí, one in Votuporanga and, two areas in São Manuel. Experiments to be realized in Jundiaí: performance of 'Niagara Rosada' grafted on rootstocks 'IAC 766', 'IAC 572', 'IAC 313', 'IAC 571-6' and 'Ripária do Traviú' (experiment one); performance of wine's grape cultivars Isabel, Bordô, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, IAC 138-22 Máximo, IAC 116-31 Rainha, IAC 21-14 Madalena, BRS Lorena e BRS Violeta grafted on 'IAC 766' and 'Ripária do Traviú' (experiment two). Experiments to be realized in Votuporanga: performance of wine's grape cultivars 'IAC 138-22 Máximo', 'BRS Violeta', 'BRS Carmem', 'BRS Cora' and 'Isabel Precoce' grafted on rootstocks 'IAC 766' and IAC 572 (experiment three). Experiments to be realized in São Manuel: performance of cultivar Niagara Rosada grafted on rootstocks 'IAC 766' and 'IAC 572' on two systems of simple courtain, with one or two branchs (experiment four); performance of wine's grape cultivars BRS Violeta, BRS Carmem, Bordô and Cora grafted on rootstocks IAC 572 (experiment five). Variables to be analyzed: number of cluster per plant, yield, average of fresh mass of cluster and berries, content of total soluble solids (SS), pH, acidity of grape must and the SS/acidity relation an polyphenols. Aditionally, in Jundiaí will be elaborated the wines of cultivars Isabel, IAC 138-22 'Máximo', IAC 116-31 'Rainha', IAC 21-14 'Madalena', BRS Lorena and BRS Violeta grafted on rootstocks 'IAC 766' and 'Ripária do Traviú'. The physico-chemical evaluated on white and red wines will be: dry extract (indirect method), reduced dry extract, alcohol / reduced dry extract relation, total acidity, volatile and fixed, alcohol content by distillation, pH, free sulfur dioxide and total reducing sugars, density hydrometer digital and polyphenols (AU)
