Food Science and Technology

Abstract

The journal Ciência e Tecnologia de Alimentos now renamed Food Science and Technology, and keeping the same ISSN, has been published during the last 32 years, being one of the most important journals in the field of Science and Food Technology of Brazil. Publishes original papers in peer review, anonymous. Current publishes four editions, with about 35-40 articles per issue. In the last 3 years were published 3258 pages, distributed in volumes numbers 30 (1, 2, 3, 4 and supplement), 31 (1, 2, 3 and 4) and 32 (1, 2, 3 and 4). The journal just changed the rules for publishing, becoming more internationalized, justifying its index with the IS/-Institute of Scientific Information (2007) and SCOPUS. The Journal has received a growing number of citations and should raise the impact factor in the JCR. Since Prof. Nilson Evelázio de Souza took over the position of editor, the journal started having six (06) Associate Editors: Helena Teixeira Godoy (UNICAMP); Neura Bragagnolo (UNICAMP), Alexandre Trindade Alfaro (UTFPR); Wilane Raimundo de Figueiredo (UFC); Valeria Paula Rodrigues Minim (UFV); Ernani Sebastian Sant'Anna (UFSC).
