Abstract

CEMICAMP presents a proposal for application the Technical Reserve Infrastructure Institutional relative to resources provided by FAPESP - Foundation of Research of the State of São Paulo, through the Technical Research Reserve approved during the year 2012. This proposal presents the plan for the acquisition of nine air conditioning equipments. The high summer temperatures, typical of the region of Campinas, the state of São Paulo, impair the functioning of computers. Furthermore, the heat influence on the performance of researchers, disturbing the concentration of the researchers and staff. Today some rooms have air conditioning, but the equipments are very old presenting some technical problems which due to the age of the equipments impair them to be fixed, and also they present excessive energy consumption. We believe that the acquisition of these equipments is extremely important, because besides solve the problem of existing infrastructure will bring comfort to the researchers and collaborators. Acquiring the equipment we have access to the products to save more energy and do not pollute the environment. (AU)
