Abstract

The treatment of peripheral nerve injuries have widely varying results. The search for new methods of treating allowed knowledge of Fibrin-Rich Plasma (PRF). It is known that the PRF releases growth factors with great potential for tissue regeneration. Objective: To compare different methods of repair of peripheral nerve injury in the rat sciatic nerve isogenic SHR, using FRP obtained from centrifugation methods. Material and Methods: Will be evaluated 8 different methods of obtaining PRF: obtaining from peripheral blood without spin, spin only (200g and 400g), double centrifugation (200g/200g, 200g/400g, 200g/800g, 400g/400g, 400g/800g). The PRF used in the repair of peripheral nerve is the one with the highest concentration of platelets. Will be performed: direct nerve suture versus nerve suture directly associated with graft versus PRF vein tube filled with PRF versus nerve graft associated with the PRF versus control (without dissection nerve injury).
