Abstract
The project focus on the relationship between ephemeral and document, from the point of view of the artist and as part of the creative process. This relationship develops in a continuum from her doctorate thesis titled: "The materiality of the ephemeral: identity of live audiovisual performance and possibilities for its documentation and memory construction". Ana Carvalho is responsible for the project Ephemeral Expande, which aim is, through collaboration between several artists, researchers, both independent and associated to institutions and universities, to develop research and present results in the context where ephemeral art converges with memory construction through documentation and to research themes in the dynamic triangulation between presence, live and real-time.
