Abstract
The present project aims to: a) assess the potential of using indirect techniques ( diffuse reflectance spectroscopy , magnetic susceptibility and x -ray fluorescence ) in the characterization of the physical, chemical and mineralogical soil b ) mapping of specific area of management in commercial area from functions c ) assessing the accuracy of maps of soil attributes generated by pedotranfer functions. Analyzes will be conducted mineralogical, chemical , textural , diffuse reflectance spectroscopy , magnetic susceptibility and fluorescence spectrometry x-rays . All attributes will be subjected to statistical analysis and geostatistics to assess dependence and spatial variability and multiple regressions . Pedotransfer functions will be calibrated and validated for prediction of soil attributes using mostly iron oxides as predictors . Maps using the values of soil attributes predicted in the two areas will be constructed and validated for accuracy . (AU)
