Abstract

This project has like purpose analyze the belonging companies risks management to the economic sectors of high environmental impact, according to classification adopted by the Beginnings of the Ecuador and by the Federal Law 10.165/2000. The objective is going to identify the main aspects and environmental impacts; identify measures of prevention and mitigation; flat of emergency and communication of risks of the companies. The initial facts are originating from the environmental indicator presented us reports of business sustainability identified in the site of the GRI, of 18 companies hosted in Brazil, between them: companies of the segment of mining, paper and cellulose, chemical, petrochemical, ironworks and metallurgy. The approach utilized will be qualitative and quantitative research. The instrument of fact-gathering will be documentary research by means of the updating of bibliographical researches and of published sustainability reports facts in 2013, researches in the sites of the companies, field work by means of observation in the companies and of interviews with agents and focal group with the local community. The project will permit to raise facts as to the transparency in the communication of the risks of the high companies polluters. (AU)
