Abstract

Aiming at the constant improvement of the quality of scientific research activities performed at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, USP (IMT-USP), the Advisory Board of the Instituto de Medicina Tropical de São Paulo (IMT-USP), has unanimously approved the annual implementation plan for utilization of the institutional infrastructure project, supported by FAPESP, year 2014, based on four main items: 1) acquisition of a special apparatus for locomotion on stairs bulky appliances (such as -80°C freezers, etc); 2) adequacy of the floor of the Animal Facility Unit of the Institute; 3) implementation of an electrical executive project for the first and second floors of the IMT-USP building II, and 4) acquisition of biometrics systems (by digital identification) to control the inputs and outputs of the IMT-USP labs. All these requested items are for common use of the various laboratories that operate in both IMT-USP buildings. (AU)
