During the period of his stay, Prof. Nikos Kalampalikis will continue the collaborative activities carried out by the Centro Internacional de Estudos em Representações Sociais e Subjetividade - Educação (CIERS-ed)/ Fundação Carlos Chagas (FCC), together with forty CIERS-ed research associated groups as well as collaborate more specifically with the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação of Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (UMESP), by carried partnership with FCC. Thereby, the visitor Professor will be involved in teaching and research activities.In the research field, the visiting Professor will develop the following activities: a) Participation in the technical meeting of the CIERS-ed/FCC research associated groups; b) Carrying out an open seminar to the general public (CIERS-ed / FCC); c) Collaboration in research carried out by CIERS-ed/FCC research associated groups; d) Discussion of the Réseau Mondial Serge Moscovici's integration and collaboration modes (ReMosco - Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme / FMSH, Paris, France) in order to continue the CIERS-e’s Internationalization process including 40 research groups from different national and international institutions associated with it. In teaching framework, the visitor researcher will participate: e) an open Conference (UMESP); f) a lesson in discipline "Research in Education" coordinated by the requesting;researcher (UMESP); g) guidance meetings with masters and PhDs whose studies discuss Social Representations, in addition to more general aspects involving research methodologies. Remember that the seminars, the class and the conference and scientific meetings will be about research lines developed by the visitor Professor, whose studies and publications are part of the study area of social thinking, in particular, of social representations, from a point theoretical view (foundations, mythical thinking, beliefs) and methodological (focus group, textual analysis) in order to emphasize issues facing education and its relationship with the psychosocial perspective.
