Abstract
During the visit of Professor Pham Ngoc Ánh we pretend to develop a research project in the area of partial actions, Leavitt path algebras and related topics. In particular, we shall study the interaction between partial actions and Leavitt path algebras, and, possibly, other related algebras. Moreover, we shall investigate the automorphism groups of some algebras in the considered classes, as well as some questions with respect to the relation between algebraic and analytic properties which manifest themselves in the case of Leavitt path algebras and $C^*$-algebras of graphs. The Visiting Professor will participate the "First joint meeting Brazil-Spain in Mathematics'', which will be held in Fortaleza, from 7 to 10 of December of 2015, and the conference "Lie and Jordan algebras, their representations and applications-VI'', an event dedicated to the 60th birthday of Efim Zelmanov, and which will be held in Bento Gonçalves from 13 to 19 of December of 2015.
