Abstract

The medical shift is done on a very informal way, it can be more organized and there are many relevant information that is often lost during this process. This issue could be better solved with an organized process on the change of responsible for the shift with software and applications. The broadened use of smartphones and tablets opens the opportunity to make this medical shift easier, organized and with a coherent collected data. Doctors and medical students are already used to collect these information by using a spreadsheet and then sending to a computer software. This project is focused on analyzing the viability to create a virtual platform for smartphones to organize and structure the shift data on an easy way as well as organizing a medical team about the patient information or other hospital activities. The development of this digital platform is to organize a database with all the relevant information about the patient on a cloud basis so it is possible to exchange this information and transmit to the next team responsible for each patient on a quick and organized way. This platform will promote innovation and will save more time for health professionals. (AU)
