Abstract

The mammary gland tumors in dogs have a high prevalence in Veterinary Medicine and the dog is considered a good model for the study of breast cancer in women. Currently, there are different classification systems to mammary gland tumor in bitches that are associated with difficult to reproducible the previous results. Thus, this grant aims to supply the researcher abroad to participate in the molecular analysis of project mammary tumors in female dogs and to discuss guidelines for a single international consensus for histological evaluation and immunohistochemistry of mammary tumors in female dogs.
