Abstract
Professor Bjorn Salomonsson is an international reference in psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy with mothers and babies dyads. Among his various studies, he is the author of papers on researches done with a method which, although considered of high value to contributions focused on population scale such as those aiming public health, is very little used in psychoanalysis. This method is randomized clinical trial. The use of such method to evaluate a psychoanalytically oriented model of treatment focused on mother-child dyads was extremely original and has inspired several partners in countries around the world. The work of Prof. Bjorn Salomonsson has been very important for the applicant researches. Having him in Brazil will be an opportunity to discuss the results obtained from the research funded by FAPESP (Project 13/25332-6) which has just ended as well as to contribute to the statistical analysis, writing articles to international journals and in order to continue the study in partnership with the Karolinska Institute.
