Abstract

Project proposal to continue the development of the SciELO Program / FAPESP for three years, from 1 November 2016 and 31 October 2019, with the specific and permanent objective to improve the quality of Brazilian journals and thus contribute to increased visibility, usage and impact of the research they publish. The project comprises a set of activities of governance, management, operations, research, training and marketing to advance the development and operation of the SciELO Brazil Index and Collection of quality journals increase accordirg to the state of the art, international presence and international interoperability with other collections of the SciELO Network and systems of international reference in indexing scientific communication, particularly the Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, CrossRef and PubMed as well as consolidating its status as proactive actor in the international flow of scientific communication, especially in the open access movement of scientific knowledge.
