Abstract

This project proposes the analysis of scientific feasibility of the production of a low cost minimally invasive insulin infusion pump, called QALY, which makes use of micro needles technology. It presents a literature review on the use of micro needles in the administration of doses of insulin in diabetic patients and various tests and analyses are proposed to support the feasibility of producing a low cost pump that make use of this technology. The proposal also provides a description of the team that will participate in the project as well as the company that will be formed in case of approval. (AU)
