Abstract

Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste runs a comprehensive portfolio of research projects, including two thematic Fapesp projects in progress ("2012/236388: Bases moleculares da qualidade da carne em bovinos da raça Nelore" e " 2011/515640: Estratégias de cruzamento e de manejo para otimizar o desempenho materno e reprodutivo de ovelhas de corte, para a produção de carne e de couro ovinos de qualidade, na região sudeste", which was recently prorrogated). All projects will take advantage of additional infrastructure of research. Therefore, present proposal aims to obtain financial resources from the technical institutional reserve for the acquisition of equipments which will complement infrastructure of laboratories of Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste. Priority is given to equipments shared among several users (multiuse)and with potential impact on as many projects as possible. Embrapa Pecuaria Sudeste has recently finhished its laboratories complex, essential steps to fulfill institutional research goals. (AU)
