Currently, the world is experiencing the boom of online social networks, which are representations of a particular social structure of the real world implemented on specific web platforms. Depending on the focus of the services offered, these can be classified as friendship networks, localization networks, among others. Online social networks of supply and demand of employment, as well as sites that offer recruitment and selection services, are very popular in Brazil. However, users' needs are not being fully covered by existing services, mainly due to: i) offering low-quality features generated by the weak scientific and technological support used, and ii) specific addressing of offers to paying users or to certain professional niches. These points hinder the establishment of fidelity with the user, who typically have that uses different services to meet their needs. Thus, in order to cover these gaps, this project proposes the development of a new social network to offer and look for jobs. Such social network, call as BeeNet, aims to represent a positive impact on people's lives, and be, for companies, a quality reference of search by candidates. The main differential of BeeNet in relation to its competitors are: i) a heterogeneous network structure, which is ideal to bring people closer to companies through improved services, which will be developed under a specific scientific and technological support for this type of network, and ii) focus on specialized and quality services for people more than the companies offering them: a) a differentiated curriculum, which allows better presentation to companies, and b) the life change project, which provides opportunities for those who crave transform their current professional reality. The project schedule is focused on the development of a functional prototype and the application of alpha tests. After that, the technical and commercial viability of BeeNet will be analyzed for the search of new funding sources. (AU)
