Biocatalytic reactions of aminolysis and kinetic resolution by lipases and biodegradation of agrochemicals by microorganisms


In this project enzymatic reactions will be applied in aminolysis and synthesis of halohydrins using commercial enzymes. Also agrochemical biodegradation reactions will be investigated. Biotechnologically the reactions catalyzed by lipases can be used in the synthesis of amides and grease molecules with antioxidant properties, as well as in the preparation of chiral drugs using halohydrins. These reactions are interesting, as they allow their large-scale applications. Also methodologies will be incorporated using immobilization of enzymes and / or application of microwave radiation to obtain better results, such as, reaction times and reuse of biocatalysts. In this project will also be held agrochemical biodegradation reactions with microorganisms (fungi and bacteria), for example, Spirodiclofen and Imidacloprid used as insecticides / acaricides in citrus culture. Thus, this project aims to cover some lines of research that are carried out in the laboratory in biocatalysis, biotransformation and biodegradation reactions using enzymes and microorganisms, and with new applications.
