Abstract

This infrastructure proposal has 12 sub-projects involving demands for the support of research activities in our institute for which a total amount of R 488.833,44 has been allocated. These sub-projects have general and specific goals with great impact on several research activities in the Institute: (1) Multi-user Lab improvements, (2,3) IFGW High performance computing - Data Network -Computer Center, (4) Infrastructure improvements in the Applied Physics Department (5) Quantum Electronics Department building, (6,7) Modification of a Scanning electron microscope and air conditioning in the labs of the Condensed Matter Department Labs, (8,9,10,11) Material and services for maintenance and research infrastructure improvement in the Quantum Electronics Department, (7) Compressor and Chiller maintenance of the IFGW Cryogenics Support Shop (AU)
