Abstract

Due to the high demand and increasing demand of the population for equine therapy, it has been noticed as a consequence, slow scheduling sessions, waiting list for up to one year for the patient to be attended, as well as the use of horses in poor physical condition, Which corroborates this delay. In this way, the need to improve the quality of the horses therapists, more specifically their three-dimensional movement, was perceived to increase the capacity of attendance in the centers of equoterapia. The main objective of this study will be to determine if equestrian horses submitted to gymnastic training have better biomechanics of three-dimensional movement. Secondarily, also verify if the biomechanics of the horse submitted to the gymnastic traning undergoes interference of increasing weights of the rider, to evaluate the support capacity. The proof of this proposal will result in better physical and well-being conditions for the horse therapist, becoming a therapeutic tool of quality. Consequently, in relation to the practitioners, they may have an efficient therapeutic method, shortening the rehabilitation period, in addition to increasing the number of patients attended in the centers of equine therapy. Thus, the research will be developed in two trials, with the following objectives: Test 1: Analyze the kinematics and kinetics of three-dimensional movement in the gait and trotting movements of horse therapists submitted to gymnastic training in comparison to the control group. Essay 2: Evaluate the capacity of support, through kinematics and kinetics, of horse therapists submitted to gymnastic training, in increasing position of the rider's weight. (AU)
