In the history of Brazilian education, we verified policies and educational experiences that sought, from a particular corporate project, to promote integral education to citizens, being a historical landmark the Manifesto of the Pioneers of the New School in 1932. In January 2014 was instituted in the network Municipality of Education of Campinas, SP "Pilot Project 'School of Integral Education - EEI'", by Decree nº 18.242. The regulations created the 24/40 class hours - Integral I, guaranteeing the teacher's permanence in a single school unit, and determined that the curricular components, times and pedagogical spaces of the EEI should be organized by Work Axes, defined by the Collegiate organs of the educational units and educational teams of the decentralized agencies of the Municipality Education Department of Campinas. In 2014, two school units were transformed into Integral Education Schools and in 2015 another three units became part of the Pilot Project. This program promoted the mobilization of the management team and other professionals of the school unit to produce a differentiated educational policy project in light of new demands and determinations envisaged in the Pilot Project, which led us to question: how the School of Integral Education is building its project In order to meet the participatory and democratic premises foreseen for the school unit? The objective of the research is to follow the process of elaboration, execution and evaluation of the political pedagogical project of the School of Integral Education "Raul Pila", of the municipal education network of Campinas / SP, seeking to understand the factors that favor or hinder the construction of the conception Of integral education in the perspective of democratic and participatory education. The process of accompanying the day-to-day of the political pedagogical organization of the school unit is based on the methodology of action research. The organization of research work involves two groups of researchers: external researchers from the university and internal researchers, subjects who participate in the day-to-day school and who are prepared to produce the research. With the development of the research, it is sought the formation of a 'collective researcher', implicated in the explanation of the dynamics of the investigated reality. For the monitoring of the work of the management team we will organize biweekly meetings between all researchers, observation of pedagogical meetings in the school unit. We will use as instruments of data collection: field diary and semi-structured interviews. The official documents will be investigated using as a methodological reference the Content Analysis according to the studies of Maria Laura Barbosa Franco (2008). (AU)
