Abstract

The Faculty of Public Health of the University of São Paulo discussed the application of the Institutional Technical Reserve - FAPESP 2017 - in its various instances. Three departments - Epidemiology, Nutrition, Environmental Health, NUPENS and Unit director office presented proposals that were appreciated by the members of the Unit's Research Committee that elaborated a single plan for the application of FAPESP money resources. The plan was sent to the Congregation for the appreciation of the members of the collegiate. Nine proposals were approved. The first, presented by the Division of Digital Production, Information Technology Area, was considered a priority, since it will meet the needs of the research developed by undergraduate students of the scientific initiation program, postgraduate students, post doctors and professors. The second proposal, presented by the Department of Epidemiology, was approved, since it will provide the modernization of the room infrastructure occupied by professors and graduate students of the department. The project presented by NUPENS (Núcleo de Pesquisas Epidemiológicas em Nutrição e Saúde) includes the renovation, purchase of furniture and air conditioner for the room. Proposition number 4, presented by the Unit Director, includes the renovation a space in which the research and innovation room for graduate and undergraduate students of the Faculty of Public Health will be implemented. The fifth proposal complements the previous one, since it requests the purchase of an air conditioning for the research and innovation room and includes a second air conditioning for the Laboratory LANPOP of the Department of Nutrition. Proposals six and seven, Department of Environmental Health, include the purchase and installation of three air conditioners for a laboratory and furniture to accommodate students and technicians. The eighth presents a project to renovate the electrical installations of the Laboratory of Bromatology and ninth includes the maintenance of two freezers of the central of freezers of the Department of Nutrition.
