The schistosomiasis mansoni affects about 240 million people in world. In Brazil, shows up in 19 federated units and one of goals of National Program for controlling schistosomiasis is reduce the geography expansion. In Ourinhos county, São Paulo, Brazil was related native cases of schistosomiasis mansoni 2008 to 2010, according to Epidemiological Surveillance Center/SP (ESC. The presence of Biomphalaria glabrata as intermediate host, as well as labor, culture and enviromental activities associated to population migrations can create favorable conditions to insertion of imported lineages, as well as enhance incidence of native cases. The main of the study is standardize and development sensible and specific molecular techniques to detect B. glabrata snail infection from Ourinhos/SP, stream Christoni to a BH Schistosome lineage. Thus, the study will standardize the best way for genomic DNA amplification os Schistosoma mansoni, from first sporocyst, by means of conventional and Real-time Polymerase chain reaction techniques. Therefore, the study intend apprimorate epidemiological surveillance of the area using a molecular tool, considering more sensible and specific in relation to the used in standard current procedures of surveillance.
