Abstract

The main objective of the visiting professor's presence is to follow, share, advise and collaborate effectively on the production of instruments and research material on affirmative policies to combat violence and discrimination in relation to sexual and gender diversities in universities in Brazil and Spain. Specifically, the collaborative research aims to identify and analyze the impact of institutional actions of universities in Spain (Madrid) and Brazil (São Paulo) for access to and permanence in education and the fight against violence against sexual and gender diversity. To do so, it will also seek to achieve the following specific objectives: a) to identify, describe and compare LGBTI community access and stay strategies for university students. Analysis of university documents and legislation will be carried out on these actions; interviews with those responsible for its implementation and implementation; and questionnaires with the population served to evaluate the perception of policies to combat violence and discrimination (AU)
