Abstract

This study aims at the Labour Justice performance, through the Ministers of the High Labour Court, in the main legislative processes about labour laws in the Brazilian history from 1946 to 2004. This study is supposed to understand how the labour law studies have changed over the years, what made it be altered and how important are the Ministers of the High Labour Court as responsible performers for these changes. The objective of this study about the politicization of justice reached trough the analyses of the votes of the labour laws along with the guidelines of the Labour Power, through an institutionalist, approach, but specifically under the influence of the historical institutionalism of the Political Science and the sociological institutionalism.
